For generations, whispers persisted of a landscape deemed too unsettling to enter the historical record. Its existence was dismissed as little more than folklore. Now resurfacing at last, the work reveals what so many sought to suppress: an impossible celestial form suspended above Joseph Anton Koch's idyllic landscape. Now restored and edition by Magnus Gjoen. 
 
It is said that, in the late 1960s, a little-known engraving of the composition briefly surfaced before disappearing once again into obscurity. According to the tale, one of the few to have seen it was a young George Lucas, who became captivated by the enigmatic sphere suspended in the sky. Now restored and editioned by us.
