Wine sits beside plastic bags, a power socket shares the wall with painterly illusion, soft-serve ice cream appears as naturally as fruit, and a deer rests among provisions awaiting preparation.
At once feast and vanitas, the work resists certainty.
Which objects belong to history, and which have quietly entered from our own time? The more the eye lingers, the more the boundaries between the sacred and the ordinary, permanence and disposability, painting and reality begin to dissolve.
Rather than recreating the Last Supper, the work invites us to consider what such a gathering might look like today - and what our tables reveal about the values, contradictions, and excesses of contemporary life.
